Touring Forums.

There are a number of sites where long distance tourers discuss subjects of interest. Airline charges for bicycles, the prevailing wind direction in Southern Argentina, the routes through the Horn of Africa, health issues, road conditions, bike packing, water filtration, gps mapping, lightweight camping equipment and much more. Some, especially crazyguy,  focus on keeping tour journals. All of them aim to make touring more accessible.

This is a great way to engage with the world community of tourers.
